If you are a businessman, it is very important that you have good relations with your employees. If you do not have fine relations with your employees, it is unlikely that your business would grow by leaps and bounds because your employees play a vital role in the expansion of your business. If they are not happy with you, they would never go an extra mile for the betterment of your company.

Appreciation is one of the easiest and the most effective ways to improve relations with your employees. There are various ways to appreciate employees. One of the methods is to give them regular feedback of their work. This way, you will be able to pin point their mistakes in a soft manner and will be able to encourage them to perform better as well.
Another form of appreciation is to make your employees feel that they are an important part of your company and it is their team work that can bring fruitful result for the company. It is because, if they keep feeling that they are just employees of your company, they would not be enthusiastic to work but if they are made to feel that they are an important part of your company, it would motivate them to work harder and would help you in getting better profits for your company.

Another way to appreciate your employees is to make them one of the beneficiaries of the profits of your organization. It can be done by setting a target of the revenue of the company, keeping in mind its expenditures, in a particular year or a month. Thereafter, inform your employees that they also deserve a part of the profit of the company once the company achieves a particular target. Dividing five to ten percent of the profits among all the employees will not bring a great difference to your earnings but will surly encourage them to work harder to achieve that target.
